Been meaning to post these photos for ages now... but busy + procrastination = me only posting now, 3 months after the event 
Anyway... better late than never ya heheh...
So for Kadazanmonk and Aunty Nancy, enjoy!
Looks like everyone had a blast during New Year... the swimming pool looked more like a lover's pool to me... the long fire cracker uncle Henry ignited sure cleared our eardrum too.

Ina Sondugung's 80th Birthday was celebrated at Donggongon Library's function room yesterday, from 7.00pm till well over 10.00pm.
The party was mainly attended by her siblings children & their children and Ina's late husband close relatives.
The younger children performed several traditional and modern dances, action songs, traditional instruments and so on as the night's entertainment. Toward the later part of the evening, the MC--uncle Range M--invited the older generation to display their singing prowess by karaoke singing.
After the first singer, no one wanted to come up front... everyone was still 'shy-shy cat'... and so, Astrid and yours truly decided to break the ice by volunteering to sing a catchy number... Dancing Queen 
True enough, after that more better singers came forward to sing
The party ended around 10.00pm plus (the night being a school week)... But for Jewel & Family, and me and Mumchee... the evening will not be complete if we did not adjourn for a drink in one of the kopitiam  [img]

SYD2 was held in Ranau from the 19th till 23rd August 2008, to coincide with the school 1 week holiday. Main venue was at St Peter Claver's Church.
With more than 2000 participants consisting of youths from all walk of life from all over the 3 dioceses in Sabah (KK, Keningau & Sandakan Diocese), some stayed at St Benedict school, and others in the nearby kampungs community hall (for the boys) or adopted by the villages (girls). Our participants from Penampang comprising of 257 excited youths, which is also the biggest group registered, were placed in Kampung Kibbas.
The kampung is some 5minutes away from town area, so the kind adoptive families (handsome 'abang angkat' also got!) even arranged for their 'kids' pick-up when the day's event was completed
However, this blogger was only present on the last 2 days of SYD2. So I can only share these photos I took of the final night (Friday 22nd August) where Penampang praise team and musician, in collaboration with youths from Papar and Membakut (who acted out outstanding dramas and action dance) perform to the exuberant audience.
How exuberant? I let these photos do the talking

Mini Reunion: Class of 5 Science 1995

Although only 10 out of 21 of us were able to come, the mini reunion was full of fun and laughters!

Venue: Revolving Restaurant--Atmosphere, Yayasan Sabah

6.30pm: Arrival & Yapping like magpies
7.00pm: Intro speech by me, then the welcoming speech by Miss Wendeth (Head Organiser), Catching up session, Video Slides... at the same time enjoy dinner... Friend Art session... Group Photo...
10.30pm: End of a marvelous evening

Sugandoi BTM 2008

10th May 2008
Organised by Kg Tuaui, Kg Bukitas and Kg Monsopiad, thus the name;
"Sugandoi Kaamatan BTM 2008".
Held at our humble church's hall, it was a great night. The preparation was top-notch.
Alas, the timing was a wee-bit off, so not many crowd came.
Blame it on "Akademi Fantasia" and Kaamatan clashes else-where ha ha!
Well overall, was matters was that we all obtained experience in organising such an event, and other than the wrong timing, the preparation on the whole was a capital E for excellent (^_^)
Well done to all the ajks involved

Jewel's birthday!

7 May 2008!
Jewel's birthday was celebrated at Shuang Tain Restaurant at Sedco.
Calories and Cholesterol worries were waived for the night.
Uncle Mike wanted to make the night more special for Jewel, so he invited Aunty F (and me actually...) as a 'SURPRISE' element ha ha! So sweet of him ya 
Unfortunately, this fotopager was unable to join in the fun and enjoy the glorious foods... Got another job elsewhere huhuhu... so Aunty F had to take over the job as photo-taker for the night All these snaps are thanks to her hehehe...
