Ina Sondugung's 80th Birthday was celebrated at Donggongon Library's function room yesterday, from 7.00pm till well over 10.00pm.
The party was mainly attended by her siblings children & their children and Ina's late husband close relatives.
The younger children performed several traditional and modern dances, action songs, traditional instruments and so on as the night's entertainment. Toward the later part of the evening, the MC--uncle Range M--invited the older generation to display their singing prowess by karaoke singing.
After the first singer, no one wanted to come up front... everyone was still 'shy-shy cat'... and so, Astrid and yours truly decided to break the ice by volunteering to sing a catchy number... Dancing Queen 
True enough, after that more better singers came forward to sing 
The party ended around 10.00pm plus (the night being a school week)... But for Jewel & Family, and me and Mumchee... the evening will not be complete if we did not adjourn for a drink in one of the kopitiam  [img]
